Any variants that were added on Shopify will not be reflected on Rakuten. If this happens you should open the "Rakuten - Edit Product" modal and republish any of the new variants you would like on Rakuten.

Note: If changes are made to a Shopify product a message will show up on the "Product availability" card on the products page telling you to update your Rakuten listing
